This paper presents a powerf'tr[ unethod to obtain flttx-lattice soltrtions of the Ginzbtrrg-Landatrequations in any external field. A key point lies in expanding the order paranaeter F in a basisconsisting of the eigenstates of the nuagnetic trar?sIation operators ira the taaean fltrx density B.It is shown that retainirag a few ternas in the exparasion provides practically exact solutions over0< B< H.). Abrikosov's restrJt near H.) is obtained here as a loxvest-order approxiznation. The naethod clarifies hoxv the higher-L?xndatr-level mixirtg grows as the field is decreased froraaHc2-
