Quantum Best Experiments Using a Cold Neutron Spin Interferometer

Easy qtuantum beat experiments have been developed trsing a new cold neutron spin inter-feronaeter, which brings LIS easy observation of' quantuuaa beat phenotnena. The quantum beatis created by the coherent strperposition of the spin eigenstates of cold netrtron with differentenergy states, which are produced with two radio-freqtrency flippers. We observed quantum beatphenotnena with a range of freqtuency frorta 4 kHz to 10 ' Hz, which correspond to the energydifferences frona 1.66 x 10 eV to 4.1 x 10 " eV. The principle and the arrangement of the-11qtuanttrzm beat experiment are discttssed, and typical measurement data are presented. Someapplications of the quanttmm beat experiments are briefly proposed.
