Using the series expansion method and Monte C;trio sirntrlai, ton, xve study the directed percolation probability on the sqtuare lattice V: : { (r, y) C Z' : x -F- y = eveza, 0< y< n, -y< .r< y'j.We calculate the local percolation probability P.. defined as the connection probability betweenthe origin and a site (O,n). The critic?rl behavior of P: is clearly different from the globalpercolation probability P: characterized by a critical exponent p'. An analysis based on thePad! approximants shows p' : 2f3'. In addition, we find that the series expansion of Plj. canbe expressed as a function of Pg.
