The conaplicated spin configuration observed in YMn3 with the ctrbic Laves phase (C15) strttcture is deduced throtrgh the exchange interactions between the second and/or third neighborstogether with the antiferromagnetic interaction between the nearest neighbors, by making ruseof the Luttinger-Tisza nuethod on the classical spin Heisenberg raaodel. The spin configuration isdescribed with a znodtrlation wave vector pointing at the X point on the Brillouin zone boundaryand shown to be stable xvith respect to its stmall deviations, i.e., long range modtulations.
