The phase stability of the Cu -Pt alloy systeun is sttrdied xvith the electronic strtrcttrre theoryand the Monte Carlo sinatrlation. By introducing 20 rntrlti-site interatotnic interactions includ-ing 6-body and pairs up to 6-th nearest neighbor, we can reproduce experimentally observedphases. Ftrrthermore, our first-principles calctrlation shows existence of a new phase near thestoichiozaaetry of Ctr7Pt xvhere the LX) ordered strtrcttrre is reported experinaentally, A prelimi-nary experirnent has been naade to check the crystal strtrctttre at this cotnposition and the restrltsupports our theoretical prediction.
