Superconducting Properties of La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4 within the Framework of the Phonon Mediated Pairing Mechanism

• Superconducting properties of La. ...Sr..CuO. are investigated theoretically withinthe framework of the plaonon mediated pairing mechanism by solving the linearizedEliashberg equation, based 011 the electronic structure derived by Kamimura and Eto,in wlaicla laoles are mait?ly accommodated in the Cu dz' and O-p hybridized upperHubbard bautd in a supercox?ducting phase. Effective electron-plaonon coxuplizag constant 1 is estimated as 0.46 by fitting the cat<xulated 7'-dependence of resistivity to theexperixnexatal data by Takagi et at. Tlaen T. is calculated by using the energy disper-sion of tl?e dz' upper Hubbard band. Tll(' calculated ,v-dependexace of T. ;tgrees wellwith tlae experimental result by Torrance et at. The ,v-dependences of an isotopeeffect, the energy gap parameter, the heat<;apacity jump at I'. and the penetrationdepth are also calculated. Tlae origin of a high T. value is due to the occurrence of asharp peak in tlte density of states of the dz' upper I-Iubbard band.high-I. superconaductor, Eliashberg equation, phonon mediated pairing, LSCO
