Microwave linewidth parameters for foreign broadening of CH3 "Br JK 0, 0-+ 1, 0of the C, symmetry perturbed by 0. were calculated considering the dipole-quadrupole, quadrupole-quadrupole and dispersion interactions. Two interpolationschemes for weak and strong molecular collisions in the framework of perturbativetheory were used for the calculation and results were compared. It has been foundthat reduction in the distance of closest approach for strong collisions significantlyaffects the contribution of various interactions and the values of resonance functionsin comparison with the effects for weak collisions.
