Minimum potential structure composed of helical polymer molecules is studied.The intramolecular potential and the intermolecular potential between the nearestneighbor molecules are taken into account. Attending to the geometric symmetry ofthe system general features of the minimum potential structure is investigated. Theprocess to build up the bulk structure from a couple of molecules which are of theminimum potential packing is given in detail. Unperiodic structures as well asperiodic structures are found to be the minimum potential structures.Crystallographic space groups of the periodic structures are given.
