The complex dielectric constants parallel and normal to the optical axis in iceIh single crystal were measured in a wide range of the temperature (O'x - l50'C).The static dielectric constant of the Debye component at each temperature wasobtained t>>' extrapolating on the cote-cote plot to zero f?'equency. Dielectricanisotropy agreed well that of Humbel et at. at high temperatures, and it increasedwith decreasing temperature. The static dielectric constant e(' followed a Curie-Weiss Jaw where T. was 46 Kand its Curie-Weiss constant C77 was 2.25 x 10' K, while eg obeyed a Curie lawwhere Ctu'ie constant C. was 2.37 X 10' K. These results strongly suggest theanisotropy in dipole-dipole interaction and the possibility of' the ordering phasetransition at low temperatures. The anisotropy of the dielectric relaxation timewas very small in all temperature range. The mechanism of the dielectric aniso-tropy is discussed.
