Features of very high energy interactions (over 10" eV) are investigated bythe use of the uamma-rav familv data obtained with the Mt. FuJi emulsion cham-ber. Based on a Monte-Carlo calculation, the validity of (1) scaling law of thelongitudinal energy distribution in the fragmentation region and (2) constancyof averane transverse momentum has been tested. To exrlain the ext>erimentaldata, breakdown of the Feynman scaling and/or appreciable increase of thetransverse momentum are required if the primary particles do not consist ofthe heavy elements (,{..jx50).
