The do Haas-van Alrhen effect has beer? measured in the intermetallic corn-pound Bi[nz b"z the torctue method in maxnetic fields ur>to 22 kG. A frectuenc>zt>ranch has been observed in each of the (12]0) and ([100) r>lanes. 1=he free-euectron model has L>een used to construct a Fermi surface, in both cases of thesinule- and double-;rone schemes. The exrerimental restults are interr>roted interms of the Fermi surface cerrtered at K in the twelfth zone.
