By taking into account a band parameter γ_8 which characterizes the trigonal warping of the bands, the electric resistivity and Hall coefficient in graphite are calculated. Electron-phonon coupling constants determined so as to fit the observed resistivity well are D_1=27.9eV and D_2〓0, where D_1 and D_2 indicate the coupling constants related to the in-plane lattice vibration and out-of-plane mode, respectively. At room temperature effect of γ_8 on the calculated Hall coefficient is very small, while at low temperatures (25-50°K) it affects considerably. Calculated values at low temperatures are improved to a certain extent in consideration of γ_8, but they have opposite sign to the observed coefficients. This discrepancy is removed by introduction of carrier-carrier scattering effect.
