(p,n)Threshold Measurements on Na, Al, Cu, Ga, Ge, Se, Y, and Sn

• Q-values have been measured for (p,n) reactions on Na^<23>, Al^<27>, Cu^<53>, Cu^<65>, Ga^<69>, Ge^<74>, Se^<77>, Se^<78>, Se^<80>. Y^<89>, Sn^<118>, and Sn^<120> by detecting slow neutrons associated with the thresholds. Using the well established threshold energies of (p,n) reactions on Li^7, C^<13>, and F^<19> as calibration standards, the following Q-values were obtained: Na^<23>(p,n)Mg^<23>, -4843.2±5.1KeV; Al^<27>(p,n)Si^<27>, -5597.5±60KeV; Cu^<63>(p,n)Zn^<63>, -4150.0±4.4KeV; Cu^<65>(p,n)Zn^<65>, -2135.3±1.8KeV; Ga^<69>(p,n)Ge^<69>, -3008.8±3.2KeV; Ge^<74>(p,n)As^<74>, -3343.5±5.6KeV; Se^<77>(p,n)Br^<77>, -2147.0±3.9KeV; Se^<78>(p,n)Br^<78>, -4355.6±7.4KeV; Se^<80>(p,n)Br^<80>, -2655.2±2.8KeV; Y^<89>(p,n)Zr^<89>, -3613.7±4.1KeV; Y^<89>(p,n)Zr^<89m>, -4199.8±4.1KeV; Sn^<118>(p,n)Sb^<118>, -4477.8±5.7KeV; Sn^<120>(p,n)Sb^<120>, -3462.9±7.1KeV.These results are compared with the previously reported Q-values.
