Peak laeights of' the Cottlouaab oscillation are exauaained based on the exact-diagonal calculationsof rrtaray-body states in a quantuun dot, xvhere tlae Coulomb interaction energy is coznparablewitla the one-electron level spacings. At nearly degenerate levels, Jaigh-spiua states appear, in accordazace with recent experinaental restrlts [Tartrcha et at.'; Phys. Rev. Lett. 77 (1996) 3613], andsome peaks of the coradtrctarace cara increase xvitlt tetaaperattrre. Txvo mechanisrns are proposedfor this QIIOIIIOIOLIS tenaperattrre dependence. This phenornenon reflects a level spacing as smallas one Kelvira arad the total spin of the electroruic states.
