• The present work reports experimental results on polycrystalline pellet of CsCuC].employing d.c. conductivity (<a), dielectric constant (e) and loss (tan c5). The conduc-tivity data was collected in the temperature range 390-660 K and dielectric constant(e) and loss (tan J) have been measured in the frequency range from 5 kHz to 100 kHzat room temperature. The activation energy for conduction has been evaluated fromthe plot log oT versus 10'/ T.[d.c. conductivity, Jahn-Teller transition, polarization, dielectric constant (e) l] and dielectric loss (tan 15 )l
