We propose a probable pairing mechanism for high-7'. superconductors. Thestrong correlation between intra-atomic Cu-d holes, U, is treated exactly. We assumeholes introduced by doping QC0lip) 0-p. as well as 0-p, orbits, and p. holes becomeitinerant. Strong intra-atomic<xorrelation V, between p.- and p,-holes, and the Hub-bard U can lead to an attractivze force between O-p. itinerant holes.
