In layers of Ga fine particles prepared by gas evaporation technique, thetemperature dependence of dc electric resistance was measured for average diametersof 22 -56 nm. The resistance versus temperature curve of a layer has two supercon-ducting transition points near 6 K and less than 2 K. The resistance of the layerdecreases first at slightly higher temperature than the bulk transition of p phase Gaand the value of resistance does not fall to zero. The second sharp transition to zeroresistance occurs at higher temperature than that of (IY phase bulk Ga. These resultssuggest an enhancement of the transition temperature T. in cx and p phase Ga fineparticles. The observed values of T. for CV and p phase fine particles increase withdecreasing average diameter of cv phase particles in the layer. The enhanced T. can beexplained by change in phonon spectrum due to the surface of fine particle.
