Ultrasonic attenuation due to electron-phonon interaction has been calculated inthe intermetallic compound Cell, in low temperature region between 0.5 K and 40 K.The resistivity of the substance is very large as compared to metals. Even in the lowtemperature region the ultrasonic attenuation due to electron-phonon interaction isvery small, and as the temperature increases the variation of attenuation is of thesame nature as common metals.
