Two-dimensional angular correlations of positron annihilation radiation invanadium and chromium are calculatdd by the APW method. The results are com-pared with recent experimental data. The agreement between theory and experimentis very good. Some knowledge of positron-electron many-body correlations is obtain-ed. The sp-like components are enhanced by many-body effect more than the d-likecomponent, and the enhancement appears to be anisotropic in 3d transition metals.
