Dynamics of the nonlinear circuit including the atmospheric pressure hydrogendischarge tube are examined to study phenomena around the arc-glow transitionregion on the basis of the static multivalued V-I characteristics, which are supposedfrom the results of experiments and theories. Although the multivaluedness leads tooscillations, the ranges of voltage and current of the oscillations do not agree withthose observed experimentally. In a new experiment using a power supply with astabilization circuit, the oscillations appeared in the previous experiments are sup-pressed and the static E-I characteristics which are characterized by a monotonicalcurve are obtained.
