Mixing of two scalars in isotropic turbulence is studied by using the modified zero-4th-cumulant (MZFC) expansion. The dynamical equations of scalar fluxes andcovariance spectra are formulated by the MZFC approximation under the assump-tion of homogeneous axisymmetric diffusion of scalar, and are solved numerically toexamine the behavior of their spectra. Particular attention is paid to an axisymmetriceffect of scalar fluxes on the covariance. The numerical result shows that when twoscalar-fluxes exist in turbulent flows, they induce the anisotropy covariance so that thetwo-scalar covariance increases in the direction of a symmetric axis and decreases inthe direction transverse to it.
