The energy spectrum equation of homogeneotts axisymmetric turbulence fora conducting incompressible fluid under an imposed uniform magnetic field, B,),is formulated by using the modified zero-4th-cumulant approximation. Since themagnetic Reynolds number is assumed to be small, the induced magnetic field,b, around B. can be calculated by a quasi-static approximation.Numerical calculations are made by assuming an initially isotropic state at theintegral-length-scale Reynolds number 7?.=60. Results slaow that the largeimposed magnetic field, B,., makes the turbulent field in the plane (A?J(,)=0 (Ais wavevector) behave as expected from the theories of two-dimensional turbulence.
