Magnetization measurements ana NMR or "co were carried out to investigatethe magnetic moment of a pseudobinary alloy system CoTi.-,Ga,. A Heusleralloy Co.TiGa (.)z:::0.50) shows the characteristics of an itinerant electron ferro-magnet which are the small magnitude of magnetic moment of 0.40 p./Co, thelinear behaviour in o5 -T' plot and p./p.=2.1. This alloy system shows ferro-magnetic behaviour in the composition range 0.30<.y<0.70. The coexistence offerromagnetic and paramagnetic Co were observed by NMR in the compositionrange 0.50<.);<70. Spontaneous magnetization shows maximum at y:0.45 andthe existence of another Co with 0.56 p. was made clear by NMR of "Co andmagnetization measurements. The experimental results are well explained fromthe view of a local environment effect.
