• Temperature dependent low-lying modes and Rayleigh wing associated withthe incommensurate phase transitions in CTFP have been measured by Ramanscattering technique. In the spectra of the totally symmetric representation threelow-lying modes around 20 cm- ' show anomalous temperature dependence. Ineach phase transition no typical soft mode has been observed.
