Dynamic Light Scattering of Polystyrene Latex in the Ordered State

A Laue pattern is observed for the ordered array of polystyrene latex particle.The pattern is well corresponding to a fcc lattice. The time correlation of in-tensity of scattered light, g"'(r), is also measured and analyzed. The intensityfluctuation of Laue spot shows a long time-correlatio?a which can be approximatelyexpressed as g"'(r) -(r) "" at longer correlation time. The fact that decayconstants, F, of g"'(o) show maximum at the half of the scattering angle of theLaue condition indicates that the movement of particle is correlated with eachother.
