The surerheatinu of normal lictuid 'He was investixated b>z means of con-tinuous heating of liquid specimen in a small glass capillary over a temperaturerange 2.26 K to 4.88 K. The maximum superheating data obtained were comparedwith the prediction from the homogeneous nucleation theory and the data forvarious liquids in terms of the reduced coordinates. It is confirmed that theagreement between the homogeneous nucleation theory and experiment on 'He issatisfactory, and the scaled superheating depends parametrically on the quantumparameter A', i.e., the deviations of the data for quantum liquids from the classicalbehavior become pronounced as the parameter is iu?creased.
