High-Resolution Measurements of Analogue States in ^<51>Mn

Using a proton beam with an overall resolution of 300-400 eV (FWIIM)spins, parities and partial widths were determined for all resonances observed(25 .s'-wave, 32 p-wave, 34 d-wave and two j-wave resonances). Differential crosssections were measured for proton elastic scattering at incident energies between3.15 and 4.0 MeV and for proton inelastic scattering at incident energies between3.15 and 3.48 MeV. Spectroscopic factors and. Coulomb displacement energieswere extracted for the fragmented analogue resonances which corresponded tothe 5/2", 1/2 , 5/2", 9/2", 972" and 1/2" states in "Cr at 3.979, 4.036, 4.070,4.101, 4.155 and 4.610 MeV, respectively. A value of the .v-wave proton strengthfunction was deduced.NUCLEAR REACTION "Cr(;, p.),A=3.15 -4.0, "Cr(7, p.),f=3.l5 -3.48 MeV measured o(E, 0); "Mn deduced isobaric analogue resonances,J, n, T,., F,T,? l ?, Coulomb energy differences, spectroscopic factors. Protonstrength function of .s'-wave resonances. Enriched target.
