The method introduced by McArthur, Hahn and Walsteclt for measuring thespin-lattice relaxation time of nuclei whose NMR signals are too weak to beobserved by conventional NMR techniques, is modified, and the ntultiple-pulsespin-locking technique is jointly used to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. Thespin-lattice relaxation time of IC" in KH.P04 was first measmtred and determinedto be 3.7 f0.3 sec at 288 K and ] 101 10 sec at 77 K.
