High spin states above the 8" isomer in "Zr have been studied using the"Sr(at, 2n7)"Zr reaction. Several high spin states above the isomer and lowerexcited states have been identified. The energy levels and transition properties arediscussed on the basis of the shell model.NUCLEAR REACTIONS "Sr(a, 2n7)"Zr, E=28 Men; measured E,I, y(0), prompt and delayed )z7-coin ; deduced levels, J, x, d([2/Ml); Ge(Li)detectors, enriched target.
