Critical Behaviour of Spin Relaxation in EuS

We have measured both real and imaginary part of magnetic susceptibility ofEuS near the Ctu'ie temperature T. by means of the high frequency magnetmcsusceptibility measurement method, in which no demagnetization correctionshave been required. Except for the immediate vicinity of T., the critical relaxationspectra obtained are described by a Debye form of relaxation and the criticalindex of the relaxation time is determined to be J=I.26f0.03. The value of Ais slightly smaller than that of the static susceptibility, y= 1.41 f0.01. For tempera-tures closer to T., the critical relaxation spectra become to exhibit a polydispersivecharacter.
