(d, t) and (d, x) reactions on 'Be were observed simultaneously. Angulardistributions of tritons and alpha particles were measured at E d =]2.35 MeVand at 14.06 MeV. Excitation functions were obtained from 12.17 MeV to 14.43MeV at 85' for tritons and at 35' for alpha particles.DWBA fit to the (d, t.) angular distribution gave good results and the spectro-scopic factor 0.29 was obtained at both deuteron energies. (d, a) reaction isconsidered to occur mainly passing through the compound nucleus formation.In both reactions, the cluster structure of 'Be seenis to play an important role.
