Line Width Analysis of ^<51>V Impurity CW-NMR in AuV

Detailed CW-NMR line width analysis in AuV dilute alloys has been studied in thewide range of temperatures 4.5 -540 K, NMR frequencies 1.5 -9.8 MHz and con-centrations 0.001-0.85 at.%. From the magnetic field dependences, nuclear relaxationtimes T. are obtained at 78-540 K. The temperature and concentration dependences ofthe RKKY broadenings are explained by taking account of the impurity pair and theRKKY damping by the mean free path effect. From this analysis, the effective s-dexchange constant J...= - 8.7 -T- 1.0 eV is o btained. This large value of J.,. is discussedin connection with those obtained by the other experimental methods and in other alloysystems.
