The phase transition in Kl-13(Se03). was studied by thet'tnal measurenaetats ofspecific heat and lattice parameters. The transition entrc>py estimated experi-mentally agrees satisfactrily vx'ith that calculatecl by a phenomenological theoryin which a latent transition pararneter was introduced. Otlcer thertmal results arealso explained fairly well by the theory. The physical nceaning of the transitionparameter is discussed basing on the crystal structure.
