The electrical resistivity of a series of Co.A Laves phase compounds wasmeasured in order to investigate its mutual correlation with their magneticproperties. In the weakly Pauli-parantagnetic compounds, CozTi, CozZr andCozNb, the electrical resistivity shows a temperature variation proportional toT' below about 30 K. The electrical resistivity of the strongly Pauli-paramagneticC02Y comround shows a fairy>' larse temperature varnation proportional to r"below about 20 K, which seems to be due to the paranaagnon scattering. Theexperintental results of the electrical resistivity and the magnetization suggestthat tlte substitutional cobalt atonts in the cobalt-rich CO2A (A=Ti, Zr and Nb)compottnds give rise to the Kondo effect with a characteristic temperature of-100 K.
