The nuclear spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation times Tg, Tz of Co" indomain walls of hcp cobalt have been measured between 1.6 and 700 K by useof spin echo ntethod. The variation of T. across donaain walls is expressed asT.=T../sin" 0, where 0 is the angle between the electronic spins and the c axis, and T.., the shortest relaxation time at the center of walls. T. for nuclei in domainssatisfies T.T=0.17.3.0.01 sec K, but T.(, shows a deviation from T..7=constant,wlaich is believed to be due to the wall-type excitation. The Co" NMR in single crystal specimens have also been observed in themagnetic field up to 20 k0e. The field dependence of the electric quadrupolesplitting suggests that the 3d charge distribution slightly changes, depending onthe direction of electronic spins.
