To describe comprehensively the superconducting phase together with the otherphases realized in the copper oxcides, the normal phase, the antiferro-magnetic andthe spin-glass phases, an ajrplication of the constrained thermal Hartree-FockBogoliubov (CTHFB) approximation is proposed. A set of the electron number- andthe magnetization-constrained formalism is exemplified by employing the one-bandHubbard model. The CTHFiB equation is applicable to the microscopic interactionwhether it includes the phonon-mediated pairing iuateraction, or it provides a self-sustaining mechanism of the Cooper pair formation. A new type of the order parameteris introduced by extending the generalized Bogoliubov transformation to mix electronspin projections onto the quantization axis (i.e. S.). This yielcls the lowered minimumof the grand potential, which corresponds to the physical solution violating timereversal invariance. The gradient method is proposed to solve the CTHFB equatuon, the non-linear eigenvalue broblem wuth constraunts.[Hartreell imation,' , phase ll transitions, theory l-Fock-Bogoliubov approximation, HFB equation, mean field approxFlubbard model, low-dimensional lattice, superconductuvutyelectronic properties of condensed matter, gradient method,
