we study numerically and analytically the interaction of a KdV soliton with the disper-sive wave train. We derive dynamical equations for the soliton part as well as for thenon-soliton contribution. These equations can be further reduced to a set of interac-ting KdV equations. Numerical computations are performed to describe the mutual interaction.
