A possible mechanism for superconductivity in heavy-fermion systems is presentedon the basis of the infinite-& periodic Anderson model. It is shown that the interac-lion between a strongly correlated electron ( /-electron) and a weakly correlated eleciron (conduction electron) resulting from a virtual exchange of density fluctuation ofthe strongly correlated electrons is attractive for singlet pairing. The expressions ofthe free energy and the self-consistent equations for the gap parameter and T. are ob-tained in the Hartree-Fock approximation. Similar considerations can also be appliedto high-7'. superconductors in which 3#-electrons of Cu" and p-electrons of 0' playroles of strongly correlated and weakly correlated electrons, respectively.
