The "Ni nuclear magnetic resonance in single crystal nickel has been measuredby the steady state method in zero external magnetic field. The electric quadrupolesplittings have been observed, and the spacing between the component lines wasdetermined to be 14:102 kHz at 4.2 K, 12f2 kHz at 77 K, l0f2 kHz at 195 Kand 9 f ] kHz at 303 K. The deduced principal value of the electric field gradientwas compared with those for<x-Fe and hexagonal cobalt.
