The equation of the characteristic functional for the Burgers one-demensional model turbulence is solved using the logarithmic expansion method, which is equivalent to the cumulant discarding approximation of the corresponding order. The expansion is carried out up to the fifth-order and the change in time of the energy spectrum is expressed in terms of the power series of time for two different initial conditions. The numerical results are discussed in comparison with those due to the zero fourth-order cumulant approximation.
