A neutron diffraction experiment for a powder specimen with 0.19 at% Sn, revealed that the magnetic moment at site II approaches zero near 100 K, while the moment at site I reaches the maximum near 100 K and nears zero at about 140 or 150 K. The magnitudes of the vector sum of the magnetic moments on the neighboring sites for the four crystallographically inequivavent sites were calculated as functions of temperature. These magnitudes explain previous results of the temperature variation of hyperfine magnetic fields in ^<119>Sn of α-Mn(Sn). However, they cannot explain the temperature variation of the magnetic moments, if the magnitude of each magnetic moment is assumed to be determined by the molecular field.
