The spin susceptibility of a two-dimensional (2D) Fermi liqtrid has been recently shown, byHirashima and Takahashi [J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 67 (1998) 3816], to vary as g(T) = 'g0f aT as aftrnct, ion of teznperature T, where AD and cx are constants. Frorn the analytic forzn of the freeenergy which is cornpatible with this X and tl?e third law of thermodynatauics, we can dedtrcethat the entropy .5, and hence the heat capacity', of the systeun varies as T'. This 'Z"-terna of S isalso counpatib[e with the theoretical j*rediction for the self-energy part of the 2D quasiparticJes.
