We perforrned specific heat naeasuretnents of C0S2 ir? a unagnetic field of O T< H< 5 T oxrera broad ternperature range (30 K< T< 250 K) by means of ac-calorinaetory. Tlae naagneticphase transition was significa'tntly rovrnded toward the high-ternperature side xvithottt considerablechange in the total ztaagnetic entropy, xvluile the field variation obeyed the ]VIaxwel1 relation. XVealso found a magnetic eqttation of state far Ctr(T), xvhich incltzdes critical indices cx, /3 and 6determined frorn the previotrs zero-field uneastrreunenats.
