The effect of temperature on the width of proton and sodium resonances have been studied in borax, tincalconite, kernite and the trihvdrate. Na_2B_4O_-・3H_2O. Exciuding the trihydrate, proton resonance line in all the samples broaden at 110°K. The transition temperatures are 210°K, 150°K and 235°K respectively for borax, incalconite and kernite. Saturation narrowing has been observed in borax at low temperatures. The change in lineshapes have been explained with reference to their structure.
