The azimuthal anisotropy in the multiple meson emission was studied with the nuclear photographic emulsions exposed to the proton beam of the energy of 30.5 GeV. Forty five events with n_s〓6 and N_〓1 were analysed. The anisotropy was investigated for the forward and the backward directions respectively in the center of mass system. An effort was made to discriminate the tracks of colliding protons from the relevant meson tracks. The γ^2-test between the experiment and the Monte Carlo computation on the azimuthal distribution did not show any significant difference beyond the significance level, P, of 0.05.
