Reviews of the theory on very high energy phenomena are presented. After an introductory sketch on historical development, models of multiple particle production are discussed first from the point of view of structure of the nucleon, and it is shown that a model based on the inner cloud excitation is fairly well supported by recent experiments of cosmic ray jets. Secondly, the interrelation of high energy elastic scattering and multiple particle production are examined in connection with the model and the field aspect of bosom.
