The leadership consciousness of undergraduate students grouped three (the teachers college, the literary course of the university, and the science course of the university) was investigated by the tests of A.Uris (1964) for the self-rating. One of the Uriss tests used in this investigation was concerned with the following characters of leadrshipl objectivity, understanding people, flexibility, communication-mindedness, and use of authority. The total score of the test on each student was obtained, then the mean of the total scores on each group was calculated, and was compared to other groups. In all three groups, the mean of the total scores of female students was higher than that of male students. By applying Uriss tests to the types of leadership, it was analyzed which leadership-types students preferred. The result was that students hardly preferred the autocratic leadership and a tendency to choose the laissez-faire way.
