g-Factor of Λ in the Hypernuclei Studied from B(M1) Measurement(Proceedings of the YITP Workshop on Nuclear Matter under Extreme Conditions)

• We aim to measure the g-factor of a A in the nuclear medium. The g-factor can be measured from the probability of the Λ-spin-flip M1 transition. Using the Doppler shift attenuation method, we can measure it with ^<11>_ΛB hypernucleus. For this purpose, we have measured γ rays from ^<11>_ΛB and observed six γ transitions. Among them, the γ ray at 1482 keV is identified as E2(1/2^+ → 5/2^+) transition.
