Rigorous results on the critical phenomena and the continuum limits of the four dimensional soft ψ^4 lattice field theory (spin system) are presented. The existence of the logarithmic corrections to the mean-field type critical phenomena and the triviality of the continuum limit (within soft ψ ^<4_4>theory) are established. The proofs are based on the rigorous block spin transformation due to Gawedzki and Kupiainen.
