• The N quantum approach to quantum field theory, based on expanding the Heisenberg fields of the theory in a complete set of normal-ordered in fields (including bound states), is used to treat symmetry breaking. At the end a speculative suggestion to connect the multiple vacua of symmetry breaking with the generations of quarks and leptons is made.
